課程概述

本課程主要介紹可靠度分析基本理論及其應用,並將統計學觀念應用於土木工程風險分析中。
This course introduces the basic theory of reliability analysis and its application, and applies statistical concepts to the risk analysis of civil engineering. 

課程目標
1. 學生能了解並表述土木工程中不確定性之特徵
Students will be able to understand and interpret probabilistic characterization of uncertainty in Civil Engineering
2. 學生能進行工程系統之可靠度與風險評估
Students will be able to assess reliability for engineering systems.
3. 學生能應用可靠度分析與風險評估於決策過程
Students will be able to use reliability analysis to support decision-making
 
課程要求
需先通過微積分、或然率或統計學課程,具程式語言基礎 (本課程範例操作使用MATLAB)
Calculus, Probability or Statistics, Basic of Programming (Matlab will be used in this class)
